Yaskawa  Company Dinner Party As the whole world is watching Tokyo 2020 Olympics now somewhat subdued due to epidemic, I am now into nostalgia of this Tokyo trip about 35 Years back. This was my first overseas exposure and so it was special. It was also due to being official trip for Technology Transfer through L&T for 12 weeks and that too to Japan at its prime in the mid- 80s.That was the time when Japanese companies like Sony, Panasonic in Electronics ruled the world .It was also special because this trip materialized within 3 months of our marriage, probably due to the luck factor of my life partner!! I used to wonder how such simple systems evolved over the years made the US citizens life easy. The declaration of Independence was passed by Congress in the year 1776.I used to wonder when we came first to US about 20 years back, what has made this country most prosperous country in the world. How can a country within such a short span of 245 years be the world leader? How is that all these immigrants from varied cultures come here and settle down and live happy?
